During the COVID-19 lockdown period of 2020–2021, our team became concerned about children whose education and motivation were being affected. We began supporting children locally and encouraging them to return to learning.
To create opportunities for learning, the team arranged rented spaces for tuition and learning centres, educational camps and competitions that encouraged children to take an active interest in education.
Over time, these efforts developed into a more organized community initiative. AL-HAYAT WELFARE GROUP KANDHLA was formally registered on 26 April 2025, under registration number 23/2025.
“Al-Hayat” means “life”. We chose this name to express our belief that education can bring new life to human potential and help people move towards a better future.
